“I am a mechanical engineer and hardware researcher at Skild AI. I was encountering a problem with Solidworks that resulted in issues with drawing hole callouts. While it would have been possible for me to manually change all of the callouts in the part drawings, this is not good practice as it would break the link to the feature in the part files. Additionally, this would be inefficient and could result in fabrication errors if not done properly. After significant troubleshooting I opted to do a Solidworks uninstall and reinstall. This still did not fix the issue and resulted in missing Toolbar items within the Solidworks CommandManager. This issue happened to me on the Friday before Christmas week and I was trying to complete part drawings so they could be sent out for manufacturing over the holidays. I reached out to Swyft Solutions for technical support and received a response within 5 minutes of sending my message. The first response was followed by two other Swyft team members reaching out to provide assistance. At this point it was Friday afternoon, 6 days before Christmas, and I was pleasantly surprised to be receiving so much support help. I was informed that the team had hosted a technical summit the previous day and most of them were still traveling home that Friday when I was looking for help. Due to the fact that many of the technical team members were still traveling, I got set up with a virtual appointment for the following day which was a Saturday. I met with a technical support team member the Saturday before Christmas and was able to share my screen during the web meeting so he could see my exact issues. In no time at all he walked me through some diagnostics and troubleshooting and was able to successfully help me fix the issues I was facing with enough time for me to finish my work and get the parts submitted for manufacturing before the holidays. The customer and technical support from the team at Swyft Solutions was absolutely superior and I was blown away by their responsiveness and ability to help on such short notice before a major holiday.
