3D Render is a cloud-based content creation role available to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. This brings the power of photorealistic rendering to the cloud, allowing you to complete your content from all of your devices including mobile devices such as tablets and phones. The rendering technology brings you the power to easily create content directly from CAD data, ensuring a single source of truth. This modeling service is powered with the 3DEXCITE xStudio app. It is fully compatible with CAD data from various sources (i.e. SOLIDWORKS, xApps, etc.).

xStudio
xStudio is the only app included with the 3D Render role. This app brings users all the rendering capabilities described for the role, allowing you to use your design data on the platform to create photorealistic content for marketing, design reviews, etc. It provides the ability to output your renders via cloud computing, removing the need for traditionally powerful hardware. As an xApp on 3DEXPERIENCE, it is accessible on cloud and pairs seamlessly with other design apps such as SOLIDWORKS and xDesign, as well as many other apps throughout the platform.

The 3D Render role is great for creating photorealistic renderings. Product Communicator is a role that allows you to carry out creation of technical illustrations in addition to photorealistic renderings from the cloud.
